Oxford Christmas Market successfully blends old and new, traditional and contemporary. Authentic mulled wine and German bratwurst can be enjoyed alongside handcrafted gin and hot chips.
Oxford might not hold the largest of winter markets, but the incredible setting makes it worth visiting.
Located on historic Broad Street, there’s plenty to see and experience in the area. Explore the city’s sights during the day and visit the Christmas market in time for an evening drink. Alternatively, visit earlier in the day to listen to brass bands and gospel choirs.

This is not true. The original organizer pulled out because they refused to run the market if bike lanes were kept open. But the Christmas Market is still happening on Broad Street in 2023, and running from 30 November to 23 December.
